And... The adapter works!
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Hmm... Getting some corruption when copying from one drive to another, strangely it seems to be at track 40. I'm going to have to tweak the FlashFloppy settings to see if that's the issue. If not then.. *shrug* who knows?!

Well, create a different virtual floppy and everything works. I wonder if the USB drive has a bad memory location which just happenes to be at track 40 in that disk image. That would be spooky if it were true.stephen_usher wrote: Sat Jul 03, 2021 8:28 am Hmm... Getting some corruption when copying from one drive to another, strangely it seems to be at track 40. I replaced the MC1488P RS232 line driver chip this morning and so far the serial port has stayed alive...

Re: New project: An ACT Apricot F1 "barn find"
Power cycled, no change.
Pulled the chip out of the socket, powered on to test and the signals I expected not to be there weren't. Switched off.
Popped the chip back in, powered on and happy again!!!
What?!
