The return of the SNK beast! - NeoGeo AES+
Re: The return of the SNK beast! - NeoGeo AES+
Tempted but I have a PS6 to purchase next year instead and the consoles I've already got do a very good job at emulating a Neogeo for me at least.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Especially if you add on Import Duty/tax!rubber_jonnie wrote: Thu May 14, 2026 3:43 pmTBH I am, but I won't be buying the Ultimate Edition, it's a bit costly for one gulp.Icky wrote: Thu May 14, 2026 3:41 pm
Are you tempted for the Ultimate Edition @rubber_jonnie - https://plaionreplai.com/en-gb/products ... country=GB
I suspect I'll got for the original edition and then slowly collect the carts over time.

I'm fairly sure they are being sold inside UK so no import duty and VAT is included.

I was expecting that, and it felt like you were buying from their UK Web shop, but on my order confirmation email they stated:
Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or handling fees at delivery. These charges are determined by local authorities or carriers and are not included in your order total.
And they haven't replied to my query on it (or added it to their FAQ). I don't want the risk of an added cost, so have requested them to cancel my order and I have gone for a (definitely) UK based company.

I suspected they would be up on Amazon and The Anniversary Edition is, but it's white and I'd prefer the black one, though it does come with Metal Slug and a wireless controller.Higgy wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 9:33 am I was expecting that, and it felt like you were buying from their UK Web shop, but on my order confirmation email they stated:

It is tempting, but I really want a black one!!!
Anyways, I expect all versions will be up there soon enough and will I expect get around the customs stuff as they usually seem to do.
Also The Games Collection has them for pre-order and they have free delivery too and are UK based. I've used them a few times and they're good.
