It does because TOS 4.0x does. Why do you think insane/tscc had to rewrite his CT60 TOS 1.05 to not use a Blitter drawing routine for the Atari logo so it works on SuperVidel? Exactly this reason.

Didn't realize he was involved that far back. My original CT purchased when Rodolphe first released them was plug and play. Always figured the splash screen was done by Rodolphe to not use the BliTTer.
