I would suggest the first thing you do when you get a Falcon030 is check to see if the PSU has been serviced / replaced.
Exxos has suggested that an out of spec Falcon030 PSU can be responsible for breaking one or more of the custom chips in the Falcon030.
You can't buy them practically anywhere.

We installed the PSU refurb kit from Exxos today which was kindly provided by Steve who sole me the Falcon.
Thankfully I have a friend who knows his way around a soldering iron so no issues at all!
