Question asked on behalf of a friend:
if you break a 16 bit machine in two, does that give you two 8 bit machines?
If so, said friend has many broken 8 bit systems (and, yes it's an even number...)

Apologies, tell your friend that I have only 2 broken 8 bit machines, both Spectrums, and I hope they won't be broken much longer...

So if you break a 16 bit machine in half and it makes 2 8 bit machines, do you get a 32 bit machine if you combine (By combine, I mean tape together. With duct tape.) 2 16 bit machines? Asking for a friend...

It is, but my friend thinks it's all good clean fun and that we should keep going forward, because it's important to have friends, at least that's what my friend says :)
