Will you be bringing your wifi infrastructure node again, Stephen? If so, drop me a note with the SSID & pwd, can you? Could save me a bit of bother.

Don't need it for the intermenets, but just to talk from machine to machine.

Cheers,

I've sorted out a camera to record your presentation from afar and a lapel mic which I'll fit you with beforehand for up-close so we should be good for audio/video between Exxos and myself.

Both should be good for about two hours, so hopefully Exxos' heckles aren't *that* bad...

If @exxos starts I might make him come up to the stage and face everyone. Better not as he will go into one of his rants. :)

Heres half of the stuff before I attempted to get it in the car... (theres amps and speakers taking up room this time)

stuff.jpg

Bad news:

The Aydin Ranger 14" CRT didnt get to fit in the car. Plus I decided not to put the box of C64/128 5.25" floppies in a confined space with lots of magnets. That stays at home. Also, my extra tables will have to stay here, as I literally cannot fit any more stuff in the car. (Maybe I need to get a van for next time?)

Good news: The 21" CRT TV is in there! ;) (already you can tell where most of the space went!)

Most importantly, MrsBomberMillzy has made sure we have a jar of coffee and some tea bags. :-D

I have loaded the amp pictured in an earlier post, and 2 sets of speakers. I have also thrown in a 2.1 amplified speaker system in case all else fails.

There is also a microphone and mic stand in the car now. Leads galore and some cool peripherals.

Im really hoping it wont take me too long to set up this time.

In such circumstances, I think the mic has an off switch @Icky

Oh, I hadn't thought about that... Hmm... Now, which router did I use the last time, and where is it? Was it a white one?
