I've asked for the tracking number by the end of the day, will cancel the order after that.
Probably wise. You never know who's scamming these days :(

Bit gutted tbh, I really wanted that machine - lot of happy memories associated with the pizza box 128.

I'm looking to buy a dual bench PSU, there's a used one nearby that I can collect, 0-30V 3A per channel, plus a 5V fixed output.

I guess 3A is going to be ample for just about anything I can throw at it, but does anyone have any pointers for what to avoid?

Having just been working on Brett's STE, I know that just to idle at the desktop was about 1.4-1.5A. Once I added in the FDD and ran some diagnostics, I found I was hitting about 2.8A.

Also, the non HC CPU ran at about 300mA more than my own HC CPU.

The ST PSUs seem to be rated at 3A for 5v and .9A for 12v. In reality I found 12v barely drew any current on the STE.

For STs I'd expect that 3A would be just fine, but it may not be for other projects, so that may be a consideration.

I use 2 separate bench PSUs, I feel it is a bit more flexible, though it wasn't the cheapest set up.

The saga of the C128 continues.

Most worrying recent tracking entries:

I've had no contact at all from the sender or the shipping company about any fees - any words of advice? Will this be customs fees, or does it look like the sender hasn't paid something given that 'missing invoice' line?

I don't think there exists a worse company in terms of reviews on TrustPilot:

Maybe I'm being overly generous to the courier (I do tend to give the benefit of the doubt more often than I probably should!) but this may be a perfectly normal overseas arrival, with duty due for import, and movement into storage awaiting that payment, for which they will contact you, and perhaps their tracking just isn't doing a very good job of making this look "normal".

I would certainly contact the courier if I were you. At least it says "storage", not "returned to sender/woodchipper"!

I'm hoping a letter arrives with details about how to pay. There's no way to contact them that I can find. Have a quick look at those reviews though, not pretty reading.
