I can't see the reason why. It would be literally few cycles to calculate it?terriblefire wrote: 21 Mar 2021 11:40 i'll wire IOA of the PSG to Port A, IOB to port B.
I'm not planning to put the mux chips on unless you think thats important or would slow the software down?

Indeed. if there are any spare pins on the CPLD i'll wire them to the ARM for future fudging.arkadiusz.makarenko wrote: 21 Mar 2021 12:50I can't see the reason why. Re: TFMSX Design (Almost complete)
Motivation for this design is to make it very easy to assemble. Like in about 25 mins.
EDIT: There is a new MSX section in the forum and i'd love to start MSX conversations there but please keep this topic about the TFMSX.

Re: TFMSX Design (Almost complete)
@arkadiusz.makarenko I've used port A and B wired to the PSG. I've also still got dual USB still wired up.
Otherwise i'm just looking for a 5v DC jack footprint

Did you move both oscillators?
I think you could drop RTC one, unless you are planning to use it somehow?

Re: TFMSX Design (Almost complete)
Amazing work so far @terriblefire. This looks like the perfect way to finally get my hands on a 2+ machine. Really looking forward to see where this project goes.
It's not that bad actually, at least from the time I've spent on msx.org. People are generally polite and helpful, but I only have experience from the English forum.terriblefire wrote: 20 Mar 2021 14:11 I've no intention of getting involved with the MSX community. I hear its on a par with Amigaland and honestly.... i'd rather read every tech manual ever written than interact with a know it all on a forum ever again .

I have ordered both video chips, just in case I might ever need it... :)
