Re: Paradroid STE DMA issue blog
Try a STE DMA C398789-001A ...
Re: Paradroid STE DMA issue blog
I'm not lucky enough to have one of these to test.
Besides that -
@exxos
TEST in STFM C070789-001 REV F2 / 8Mhz no booster
DMA: CO25913-38 PH23-030 / OEM 1X
Corruption on writes over ASCI, tested both TOS 1.04/2.06
I'll try H5 next

Bonkers, 79789 boards are generally the least buggy revision... I wonder if theres been a faulty batch of US or some recent changes which broke it or something ?!
Re: Paradroid STE DMA issue blog
A DMA port would help... lol

No worries. Really it's all because Exxos finds all these fixes which allows people like me to do work. So thanks Chris tooParadroid901 wrote: Thu Feb 04, 2021 3:18 pm Just to say thanks with all your help Steve, at least I can read and write in 32mhz which was more than what I could do previously

Steve's Phoenix A3 - Gipsy Kiss colour edition to the rescue!
Nope... Can't write to this ASCI2STM without corruption either. DMA is -38 / 9H1 61 which is QC tested from Exxos store.
I'll test the ASCI2STM in my TT now...

Re: Paradroid STE DMA issue blog
I have reason to believe this could be down to: SD card used and/or hard disk driver... I just need to find another SD card to test.
Re: Paradroid STE DMA issue blog
Bad card connections can cause issues like that as well..
