The ones I sell are 55ns ROM's which work fine.. Hello all,
I am the lucky recipient of this fully repaired and polished C-Lab Falcon Mk.II.
I mostly used the Falcon for music production, with midi and hard disc recording using Cubase Audio and Soundpool Wavemaster/Audiomaster.
It had gone faulty some time ago and I assumed that it was just too old or obsolete to repair.
However, after searching for a UK based repair shop, I came across Steven Timms.
Steve gave me a lot of good advice and info, before I had even sent my Falcon to him, so I felt it would be in safe hands.
The internal SCSI hard drive had given up the ghost so Steve installed an internal 8gb IDE/CF card which he partitioned into 6, with the last partition being FAT32, and anew floppy/usb drive.
The internal clock was also no good and was replaced, along with a power supply recap. In fact, he just cleaned and repaired everything.
When I got the Falcon back, everything was great except for Cubase Audio. I had no idea that this software could only read/write to a SCSI drive.
So, Steve made a SCSI adapter and a terminator and so I could use a SCSI2SD board which I already had.
As you can see from the pictures everything fits nicely inside the Falcon and I'm using an old external Iomega JAZ 1gb drive.
The addition of the NETUSB cartridge tops it all off, allowing me to import and export files via my home network, using UIPTOOL v3.10 or a USB stick.
Anyway, thanks to Steve I'm back trying to make music again.

BTW. I see a few rubber bands in this thread. They dry out over time and snap. Make sure it doesn't come loose and short anything when that happen.

There were probably too many images. I managed to resize them all as per your board guidelines.
