Re: PhilCs H5 A3 build
Well if it wasn't, I'm not sure where the RW had gone to
Happy it works now
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
Re: PhilCs H5 A3 build
Hey Phil is this a fix everyone needs to do or just limited to your particular board?

Looks like its just my board so far Steve.Steve wrote: Fri Nov 06, 2020 6:02 pm Hey Phil is this a fix everyone needs to do or just limited to your particular board?

Re: PhilCs H5 A3 build
@PhilC - That RW route to the shifter comes from IC6 and is where FIX #2 is required. Is there a possibaility the RW line got damaged during the fix or is it a quality issue on the board? The RW route is on the bottom layer so you should be able to see any damage.PhilC wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2020 8:32 pm RW on the shifter has a fault on the pcb, I fitted a bodge wire from pin 9 on IO port 1 to pin 31 on the shifter and were all up and running, so no wonder things were confused.
Purple line RW route
Re: PhilCs H5 A3 build
@Icky I did think that at first but I'm not guilty of any breakage this time, only fixage

Re: PhilCs H5 A3 build
@Icky well I did have to go through the fixes a good half dozen times before I was sure it wasn't my fault.
