TF536 firmware upgrade impact 10.1 cable not found problem

yea sorry should prob be a bit more clearer on windows 10 useing gadgets install walk through
it shows as usb serial converter on windows xp shows as digilent usb device but keeps showing yellow after trying to connect in device manager as in driver not working cant find a driver for it anywhere

Are you using ISE 10.1?

EDIT: I am wondering if you have one of the newer ones Stephen mentioned earlier, that seems to only work with a later version of ISE?

My new one doesnt work in impact. I have had to use xc3sprog with it. Didnt want to spend time figuring anything else out.

Spend another day fanning on trying to get this dam thing to work looks like it will only work with 14.7 impact can't get it to install need a serial code lol give up
any one near Newcastle who can update this for me lol

I installed 14.7 on an old Win XP machine and it works. I think you can get licence for free from the website. I think that's how I got mine.

right the good news got impact 14 working and yes the dam cable is working I think can see the chip I load firmware but no program option is it just because I'm shattard I can see it

Firmware there don't get the options on all the YouTube vids but that's impact 10 so close off to bed lol sorry for being a pest on this grrrr

Select the option to disconnect cable from the drop down menu and the programming functions will reappear.

This is just a side effect of using a knock off cable.

it worked what looks like I have a working tf536 lot less hair lol but now time to test and enjoy
