4mb STFM SMD Ram upgrade - FAILS TO BOOT :(

HELP WANTED:

Firstly, thanks for those that offered advice and things to try - ive removed the upgrade, checked and cleaned every suspect joint or track.

EXACTLY THE SAME :(

Would someone be willing to take the board and diagnose/repair it for me please? I will of course pay you for your time and effort!

And of you could document what you do, and methods etc to get it back working - I'd be gratful, and with luck, LEARN something.

I dont know if Steve's mailbox is full.

If you're talking about PMs on the forum, then messages will stay in the outbox until the recipient has read them.

I can't say for what reason he's not read them, but please be patient as I know he's been in demand a lot lately so may have just not been able to get to them yet.
