@terriblefire

Could there be any conflict between the FMV that try to use Z2 memory and the TF330 wich has only Z3 memory ?

The cards can be plugged together with a 3 way riser, but playing video with FMV result in weird video ( green and blocky screen )

Video is displayed clean if i disable the fastmem of the TF with nofastmem

So i think it's related to the Z3 memory vs FMV Z2

Is there a way to remap the TF memory to have 4MB in Z2 and other memory in Z3 with a firmware update for example ?

Apparenrtly it's possible to do that with MMULib too but it seems too much complicated

Finally, I achieved my goal by modifying my Plaympeg2 program to work around the problem with the Z3

TF330 + FMV is perfect !

I'm waiting for the final version of the riser and the final PlayMPEG2 version to share pics
Still some minor adjustments to make ;)

Sorry for the late reply here. I had a TF builder meet up Thurs-Mon. Just cleared up the mess from having @chucky, @erique and @arkadiusz.makarenko over for beers :)

A little update

I've made a custom riser with 2 prototypes board. The connections are simple, the 3 slots are just connected pin to pin together, like the ProModule Riser
The slots are spaced by 31mm and allow 2 positions for the riser. First position is with one card inside the CD32 and the other one below, like in my pic
( the mid slot is connected to the CD32), the other position is with the lower slot connected to the CD32, with one card inside the CD32 and the second one is above the CD32 case, for those who doesn't want to add a "ProModule-like" case below the CD32

As the FMV module can't see the Z3 memory, i've modified my Plaympeg2 player to use only chip RAM, fast is only used for HDD buffer. The cpu bus is very busy when playing a file from HDD @2300kbps but it works great, i had to add joypad control with direct access to CIA because ReadJoyport was creating micro-stutter on the bus

The RGB port has not been tested but using EXT RGB signals as said stephen should work as it's working like this on the SX-1

Perhaps it needs extra stuff like a keyboard USB port and floppy port.....There is enough space between the slots to add them i think

This is a rapid test playing an intro mpeg file from cd + audio cd with Jim Power game on the TF330 + FMV prototype
Plaympeg2 only use chipram.
