That's an interesting write-up. 3.02 sounds like a good all-rounder. Do you ever use SpeedoGDOS 5.7 with 3.02? I must admit to being a bit confused as to when/where it's needed. It seemed to play nicely with 2.51 and gave me a nice font in ST-guide. Beyond that I'm clueless :D

Cheers, 3.02 for me is my preferred, because of introducing TrueType font usage, and I have never really deviated from that, and it has a small footprint which is useful, and is ever so marginally slower than 2.51, so it is my subjective preferred all rounder. As for SpeedoGDOS, you don't really need it with NVDI as it has its own GDOS replacement (font handling, printer drivers...), however there may be a case where SpeedoGDOS works more nicely with various printers, or GDOS applications, so there may very well be a use case for that combination. I may actually have a case under HadesTOS, where I seem to encounter issues with font handling using NVDI, but I need to test it out more. So although it may not be necessary, it may be useful to use the NVDI and SpeedoGDOS combo because of preference or compatibility.
