I needed a cheap / simple way of doing an SDRAM experiment. This is the best thing i could thing of. no complex connectors to solder.

What cpld is it? XC95144XL or XC95288XL?
Is this board 2 or 4 layer?

XC95144XL and 4 layer.

100Mhz SDRAM on 2 layer wouldnt be a good idea.

That is what i wanted to know!
I strongly recommend You to choose these SDRAM chips: AS4C16M16SA-6TIN
These are cheap, running @166Mhz, this will allow to go 64MB - that is enough for anything..

I suggest you stick to these unless you have a really good reason not to. Smaller chips have different pinouts and will not work.

Excellent news about the TF330 terriblefire. I was hoping you'd do a 030 card for the CD32 due to their rarity and expense. Also happy you dropped the FPU, not really useful on a 030 card.

Specs are : -

MC68030 @ 50Mhz or 25Mhz (fixed but selectable)
64Mb SDRAM @ 100Mhz (Burst Supported)
ZIII Autoconfig.
44 Pin IDE
Header for ESP8266
(can be used immediately with ESP zmodem firmware and Paula serial.device as a wireless modem for cheap CD32 networking
However the CPLD could be used to implement a faster UART if someone wants to do that later - probably be me).
