Is that CB102844?

Make your own for £2?

I may be wrong but if the diag cart doesn't use handshaked i/o with the DSP, a 50 MHz 030 can shake its tests quite a lot.

Unless @Badwolf had this test running during his DFB1 development, of course.

@whomper would be better to answer..

I assumed it would need the full test harness as well, but no idea..

OPTION jumper would help as it limits the CPU to 16MHz...

No, I didn't test it but I did see similar failures at OPTION1 speeds. Assumed entirely because test harness missing, but now I'm not so sure and will probably look into this further after CL4.

The DSP bit looks like it just needs the plug wiring. I don't know how easy it is to lay hands on that sort of plug, but if push comes to shove I may try to make one with 3d printing and some solid core wire.

This is what I have. Seems like a DIY plug based on previously linked wiring guide. Not sure why bother with hot glue.... Its not like there's deep IP there

Looks like china still sell them..

Meanwhile in the uk... I'm tempted to go for this if it's the right connector...

Edit:

Found a bit cheaper seller and bought one. Hopefully it will fit. :)

whomper wrote: 18 Sep 2025 18:54I can send you my audio tracks so that you can replay it exactly. the bluescsi used an interesting images concept where you create 1GB images and then bluescsi reports it as separate drives to HDDriver.
Can you publish the song somewhere so we can try it on more setups?

Also, how Cubase enforces this SCSI requirement? You really can't just open a song from an IDE disk? (sorry, a total Cubase newbie here)

Btw thanks to this investigation I have just found out that SCSI on my CT2 Falcon is totally broken. Cool.
