@terriblefire that doesnt boot for me. It will reset but the glue isn't asserting 50hz on the monitor.

I need to reinstall impact by the looks of things, it keeps crashing to desktop when changing files. Works fine if I use the wizard though.

Does it boot with the normal firmware. Can’t get my tf536 to boot at all now. Either of them

I tried switching back to the old software and no, it wont boot at all now.

Edit:
fixed my Impact as well, so it's not that and have tried erasing, reflashing and verifying and its fine each time.

mine is the 133mhz chip if it makes any difference.

Ok, quick update, it works now with the original firmware with TOS2.06 but 8 bombs on bootup. I don't know how but my Emutos eprom is now dead or corrupted. Will erase and reprogram it later on.

I'll try the new firmware with Tos 2.06 and then reburn a new rom of Emutos if that works.

Edit:

New and old firmware pass the Tos2.06 memory test but 8 bomb after.

Burned a new Emutos rom but the new firmware wont boot to it, just sits with a 60hz screen with glue not asserting 50hz. Machine resets ok but no further.

Hope this is of use.

In comparing the rev1 and rev2 i noticed that the rev 1 is more stable for me. The major difference with them being that the rev 1 was assembled by me by hand and the rev 2 was not. I wonder if these caps are a bit crap?
