What does the machine say in the serial log during boot? (particularly around "IkbdConnect")Atarian Computing wrote: Fri Oct 30, 2026 12:58 pm Yeah, it doesn't seem to recognize it in the monitor. kbd get/set does nothing and kbd info gave unknown kbd or something to that effect. Mind you, my USB keyboard and mouse using a Logi dongle work perfectly.
Might also be interesting to go into monitor, either by hitting the NMI button or from the bios setup screen, then type:
Code: Select all
cfgand then you can possibly try setting the wanted baudrate to same as standard IKBD/Eiffel (7812) with:
Code: Select all
cfg ikbd_baud 1(the pram is a sector on the ROM for config data, and is new since the old firmware. Previous firmwares used a tiny area of the RTC nvram for this type of stuff)
If this works, then try upping it to 5 (125000 baud) -- that's what i was running on my Rev.A1
But given the description I'm not having super high hopes this being the actual problem, but worth a shot until I get around having a closer look at this. Chances are I mucked something up when doing the CKBD related changes/additions for Rev.A2.
