OK, so the 48 pin sockets are here, so I'll get those installed later. I have another 40 pin socket to do as well, but that's the ROM and as I want to continue to use DiagROM I will leave that socket to the very end when I no longer want to use the Boo Bip ROM emulators as I don't want to mess up the new socket with round pins.
I think the plan is going to be to upgrade to 1MB on board if the replacement Agnus makes no difference and just stick an RTC in there.
It's less relevant now I have 8MB on the upgrade board.

Indeed but as I said, if changing Agnus doesn't fix the trapdoor RAM issue, I'll add another 0.5MB onto the mainboard, it's less of an issue now I have 8MB chip RAM plus the existing .5MB of chip RAM.stephen_usher wrote: 11 Feb 2025 13:45 Unless you change the jumper on the motherboard the trapdoor RAM won't be Chip RAM but "Slow" RAM.

Waiting for stuff to arrive is really annoying.
