Some small updates in my beta testing journey. I'm still waiting for the 060 rev6 hoping it will arrive, but on the other hand I got the Picogus 2.0
The Raven finally seems stable with Emutos and partly with Freemint 000. The cause of the blocks is the network card (I tried two and the result is the same). Without a network card, Raven is usable and stable. Doom 1/2 works perfectly with soundblaster audio output. Tyirian works perfectly without sound, while the SB version works but then crashes. Here I read that it is tested to work with the FPU and so we wait...
Gnuboy works with Soundblaster audio.
Why do network cards bother him even by changing slots and even removing the Picogus?
PS I went back to the ET0 video card which seems better to me...

I tried the latest changes on the serial and it works with my serial-usb adapter setting the speed to 115200 bps and no FlowCTRL.
I've been using PicoGUS 2.0 for a few days and it works with Doom and partly with Tyrian (it starts, you hear the audio but then it freezes). Also in Gnuboy you can hear the audio via SB.
Why can't I hear SB audio in scumm...
Finally, the system is now stable but only by removing the network cards: have you changed anything in isa_bios?

Hmmn, not sure about Scumm. Strange that it works with gnuboy but not that.
I'll have to check the code in case I did something different there compared to the other ones I did SB for later.
I'm not 100% sure but you might need to restart the game after having selecting Soundblaster as your sound device in the F5 options menu but you probably already tried that?

This makes me very sad because when I insert the network card, after some time, the blocking is certain.

I replaced the Freescale 33 with the Motorola MC68150FN40 and noticed that everything works much better and even the Tyrian demo works with SB audio.
At the moment I have two cards in the Raven: ET4000AX and Picogus 2.0. The software works as follows:
Doom 1&2 works with SB audio but there is no music;
Tyrian works with audio and music too.
Scumm works with YM audio chip only.
SNDPlay, MXPlay and Jam only with YM audio chip.
When from TOS I do pgusinit /mode SB or /save I get the error:

I tried pgusinit /sbport x (220...etc) but it returns an error.

Freemint works great even without FPU... I'm still waiting for the 060 rev6 stuck in customs :(

Last thing: if in addition to the cards mentioned (ET4000 and Picogus) I insert a network card (I have two) or the floppy/ide isa controller into a slot, the system becomes unstable and crashes.

The 060 rev 6 has finally arrived. Inserted into the Raven I had no problems. Unfortunately the system always freezes when I insert the network card into any isa slot.
I can't start Freemint correctly. I thought that with the standard distribution for 060 https://tho-otto.de/snapshots/freemint/ ... clones.zip everything would have gone well at the first try and instead...

That's what I was trying to tell you like 10 pages earlier. :-) You didn't investigate your freemint 68060 issues, chose to use 68000 builds instead and now, weeks later, you can start again, only with the fat bill for full 68060 which freemint doesn't need for its run.

Unfortunately, I have personal shortcomings about Atari. Since there is no specific distribution for Raven, I would like to understand how (and if) to modify mint.cnf and xaaes.cnf
If I use Freemint 000 it recognizes the FPU but does not see the MMU...

I would like a clarification on Picogus: I use it in SB emulation mode and it works in a somewhat incomprehensible way.
Doom: SFX works but not music, or by launching doom.prg -music adlib then you hear music and SFX at the same time.
Scumm: YM audio only
Tyrian: only music without SFX.
Jam and Mxplay: No midi audio.

If I put OPLMIDI. PRG in AUTO:
DoomSB and Tyrian: music and SFX OK but the computer crashes as if there was the usual ISA conflict.
Scumm: midi music works and no freeze.
Jam and Mxplay great midi audio !

Where am I wrong?

It seems that I have found a trick that seems to work: by putting tape on the isa card and forcing it to work at 8 bit, it finally seems stable with Picogus, Ethernet card and video card.
Games with SB audio work, and the Ethernet card also responds to Ping etc, but above all it doesn't crash.
I'm writing this because it might be useful to someone, although I'd like to understand what the reason is...
