It's the new office chair.
When I've been sat in it and get up I get a shock. Now I discharge it on the light switch screw before touching any of my stuff.

Reminds me of the big bubbleswap we used to use at my old job. You had to keep 2 foot distance from it at all times else a spark would jump at you!! Needed danger money to use the stuff it was that bad! There was often a moment of silence before anyone touched the stuff
normally followed by phrases like "ah'ya fu**cker" and "ah,ya bas**ard" and sometimes "stop fu**ing laughing!"
You could often hear the cries of pain from the other end of the building as well
