OH.. it must be running part of ROM as I see the RESET twice, which likely means its running RESET from ROM...
I wonder if DIAGROM would run on the Falcon... hmm...

Falcon030 dead after Centuriontech CT60/CT60PSU incident - investigation begins
Re: Falcon030 dead after Centuriontech CT60/CT60PSU incident - investigation begins
Burned DIAGROM FALCON ROM, took about a minute then flashed up loads of stuff on my own falcon screen, then just seemed to "die" on a red screen
Nothing appeared on the serial terminal either. So maybe it was never tested and I am the first ... Either way, with no serial output, its a bit of a dead end there
Will let Claude have a look at it, see if it can find anything wrong.. Though at about £10 a pop for ROM's these days.. not something I want to keep investigating !
EDIT:

EDIT:
Yes, DiagROMFalcon.rom is broken on serial for the Falcon. The Falcon’s Modem port is driven by the SCC, but DiagROM only ever writes to the MFP’s serial chip.

Muahahahaha... Claude saves the day in fixing Diagrom, still has some bug preventing it getting to the menu... BUT...

Good enough to risk a new Videl?
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Quick throw-away video..
Adding a few more tests and features. It beeps the speaker and floppy LED during each test phase. So even if video and serial isn't working, you should still have the LED and beeps.
If it fails to boot to the menu (no ram) then it now sits in a loop rather than just a system halt.
EDIT
Basically diagrom is still very much Amiga oriented. So it's basically have a huge rebuild currently to make it all work properly on the falcon.

That's one resilient Falcon. More like a Phenix though...
