I did the PSU replacement myself but just checked how much that cap kit was and may do that myself too now.

Yeah, I paid £11 for it through ebay, cheaper than on the Retrosix website, but as I said, some caps are too tall and need to lay down. If you're OK with that, then it's no problem. Given the number of caps I have left over after doing mine, the value is pretty good.

Well I just confused a young Dr. I told him to put a cap kit and I will be fine. He said 4 days of iv antibiotics and we well check ✔

OK, well the diagnosis isn't great for the Saturn. It looks like the CD drive is dead. I'm going to go through the tuning guide here: Saturn Laser Tuning, but I think it's read it's last disk.

Time to see if I can find a Fenrir...

@rubber_jonnie disk height makes a difference too as well as tuning the laser.

Good luck finding a fenrir, they always seem to be out of stock, would love one if I could find one.

I thought that Sega Saturn laser assemblies were very cheap on AliExpress?
