I'm back home again and I've unpacked the van, set up the desk/bench, gone into work and collected the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon 3D printer (and crystal oscillators for the OPD floppy board), come home and set up the printer.

Not quite in the place it's going to live but almost. Doing the first test print now, a scraper handle.

Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Looking good, be good to see what the 3d printer is capable of.

I'm starting to get the bench set up now...

IMG_3495.jpeg

Note the lack of a front on the PC though. That's because when I was lifting it I forgot that under the rear is a sliding air filter, so that slid off and the machine crashed to the ground from about 5 cm up, breaking all the (woefully under engineered) plastic clips and location pins holding it on. I'm going to have to see if I can superglue them back on and refit the front.

My second print was the case for the QIMSI cartridge for the QL.

I hope you like the tasteful dayglo orange colour. :-)

@stephen_usher so can we assume that, like @exxos’s pink, you're going to have a workshop full of orange stuff now?
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Hehe. Maybe. It's just that the starter spool with the Bambu is orange. (There's also black and white spools but I've not opened them yet.)
