Trying to print out multiple spacers all day. Would only ever print properly in the dead centre of the bed regardless of settings again  I found a small photo frame and click that to the bed and printed out pretty much straight away. I need to get a proper sized piece of glass for this bed. But I think the print bed itself just really sucks. I think I found similar before where the heat distribution of the bed is very erratic. I think the glass being able to dissipate the heat more evenly and been a flat surface is what is making things work better.

@exxos do you have any auto bed levelling on your printer?

I use a textured glass bed and it worksvvery well but also back that up with auto bed levelling.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Have a look at something like a BLTouch. You might need to edit your firmware if it doesn't have the touch option but it's worth it.

Hey @exxos with the WD chip fix board could you point out where to solder as well please, I'm thinking we just skip the first two pins? Thx

Not sure what you mean by skipping pins ? The PCB is (or should be) marked ST and WD chip.

I have seen those. I could do with some integrated addon, like one with a display I can just bodge on the print head or something. The flashforge firmware is all closed :(

@exxos you could try swapping out the main board etc for something by Bigtreetech perhaps? I got rid of my Creality boars and fitted a BTT one with colour screen etc and the quality has been much improved.
