Did you change the ROUTE.TAB file to point to your router?

Re: Raven060 (luciodra build).
I have also been testing network on my Raven over the weekend and was also struggling to get it working. I am using an ISA network card that I know worked with my MicroATX EtherNEC set up.
I finally got it working under EmuTOS today. The trick was the DEFAULT.CFG needed editing manually to set the Nameserver. I set it to Google's DNS:
Nameserver = 8.8.8.8
I also saved the settings in the Sting Port Setup to the C:\STING.PRT
With these 2 changes, I was then able to use the PING.PRG to ping 8.8.8.8 successfully.
The video provided above was the final bit of the STing puzzle and helped me to get it working. I have also added the steps I followed on my build post along with the STing folders and files I am using on my Raven060.

@viking272 @kodak80
Tried and tried but the problem must be something else...maybe due to the home network.

Great work Kodak80.
Lucio, what's your router details, namely, IP, subnet.
Just so we can be clear Raven has the right network information.
Does it support a dhcp scope? Eg 192.168.1.10 to 150? There could be a clash of IP with the Raven, so maybe put Raven outside this scope.
Also the Ethernet cable, does it go straight to your router, does is go into the correct port? Some routers have a wan port.

The first thing I want to do today is connect Raven directly with Mac and see if they can see each other...viking272 wrote: 23 Dec 2024 09:22 Great work Kodak80.

Re: Raven060 (luciodra build).
I made all the attempts in the world, configuring Sting with the recommended parameters and others, I used normal cables and crossovers to connect Raven to PC, Mac but nothing.
Now I tried to connect Raven directly to the ADSL modem and it gives me activity with the LEDs flashing.
https://youtube.com/shorts/VpcH_G0_mdU? ... LJccTCqMbE
The modem diagnostics tell me that data is being transmitted and received but I don't know from whom and to whom.
The IP I chose for Raven 192.168.1.80 gives it to me in the list, but the MAC 00:00:00:00:00:00 is strange...
Obviously no activity from Raven. Except Sysinfo gives me the statistics that increase.
I was wondering: what does the "Internal" driver at IP 127.0.0.1 refer to? He's the only one who responds to the Ping...
Last question: UIP-tools that you use beautifully with Netusbee is there no way to make it work with Raven?
Thank you and Merry Christmas!

It's been a while since I messed around with STing so I could be wrong... (especially as this was on my STe)
When trying to connect to your Mac, were you using the serial driver in STing? Does your serial cable have CTS/RTS?
IIRC, the STing serial driver expects CTS/RTS to be wired.
When connecting my STe to a Pi (using SLIP/PPP on the Pi) I had to bridge CTS/RTS on the cable.

I don't want to have misunderstood, but you are referring to the direct connection via serial, while I was referring to the direct connection via LAN.chronicthehedgehog wrote: 25 Dec 2024 11:21 It's been a while since I messed around with STing so I could be wrong... Re: Raven060 (luciodra build).
Localhost is the Raven tcp/ip stack I believe.
Is the MAC address defined in the Sting options?
Otherwise does the NIC work in another device?
Finally PPP doesn't need MAC addresses as its a point to point protocol, so I presume this isn't used anywhere?
