I did scope mine out the other day against an original ST if that helps https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... =40#p29711exxos wrote: 12 Dec 2019 22:59 @PhilC what voltage do you get (on scope) on the RGB lines on the connector ?
So there is a 1.685 DC offset when we have "black". so max is 3.315 - 1.685 = 1.63V... VGA apparently is supposed to have 0.7V max, so we double the input voltage right there.
Its possible the Videl doesn't output a MSB input to the DAC. Will try and scope it tomorrow.

I think they will end up being the same as Icky's. I need to test my Falcon DAC out, but trying to do as much to flashy software as possible today.PhilC wrote: 13 Dec 2019 16:33 @exxos I'll try and take some readings on Sunday night as away at the mo.

Happy to report the quick delivery of my cpu and simm sockets from the @exxos store, thank you very much.
I've got all the parts I need now to finish the other two boards I have and maybe an extra one when exxos is ready to sell some of his extra ones.

Yeah, I was gonna get some new boxes made for the few boards I have left, but now the box company needs like 200 boxes for a sensible price and they ramped on like £70 setup fee now, its just ridiculous . I already brought some edge protecting foam for the boards, but I have no idea how to box the things up now :( Even buying sheet card cut to size costs more than boxes. I even looked into polystyrene foam sheets, but have to buy like 2,000 of them.

No time yet @PaulJ . It's a case of too much to do and too little time.
Wont take long when I do get to it next.

So Phil, how many H4's are alive now? Paulj/2, Kodak80/2, Phil/1, Icky/1, derkom/1, and dog/1. I guess that's eight so far unless I missed someone.PhilC wrote: 02 Jan 2020 08:15 No time yet @PaulJ . It's a case of too much to do and too little time.
