Strangely, Mouser had no problem to ship those two components to Gemany - received their shipping notice just one hour ago

Hmm, that's really odd. Maybe I was just unlucky then :D I chatted to a customer service rep and he confirmed that it was not possible to ship them but wouldn't say why exactly.LarryL wrote: 21 Oct 2025 18:35 You‘re welcome, @redpixel :)

Out of curiosity I checked their RoHS status and both seem fine (I'm guessing they would've mentioned if they had any active exemptions):

Haha that’s completely bonkers! I took your advice and got myself some faster ram chips.PhilC wrote: 21 Oct 2025 14:29 Just done the filtrate Weston the card ran with 80mhz MCLK and prepare for more daft figures
Not quite sure if I have the tools, skills and guts to replace the ones on the GD5434, it’s quite cramped there for my clumpsy soldering iron :)
The GD5429 should be fairly easy though.

@agranlund I'll look forward to seeing your results with the 5429 then. I'm getting 80mhz easily on the 5434 with 60ns ram btw.
Shame the 5434 is still crashing for me. Wondering if it's my abused ISA socket though but the 5429 works fine in them.

If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Re: Raven. A homemade Atari-like computer
Thank you @redpixel, nice to have another Raven in Sweden :)
How bizarre that they wouldn’t ship those two chips to Sweden! As you said, there aren’t really anything indicating why they wouldn’t be eu compliant.
Wonder if Digikey behaves the same or if it’s just Mouser.
At a glance it looks like that TRSF3243EIPWR is pretty much identical. Nice find! Fingers crossed it works fine as a replacement.
Hope the smd variant of the ds1818 can be shipped to Sweden else I’ll have to rework it for other component(s)

This is what I've been able to deduce from the various threads. Am I missing someone? Can each builder verify the info?

Re: Raven. A homemade Atari-like computer
I think I for some strange reason must've ended up on some sort of shit list of Mouser's. The order still hasn't shipped, it seems to be close now though (order status has gone from "picking started" 2 or 3 days ago to "picking completed"). I chatted to them and they've refused to say what was wrong, other than that the parts being "restricted" caused the order to get sent back to their credit department (even though it was paid for up front by Mastercard)... Really odd. I called the Swedish service desk today and the person I spoke to told me the parts were not for sale to private customers, only to businesses. Not sure what to believe :D Anyway hope it's just me and shipping will be fine for others.
