Re: Noob building a TF534
Well, there are female CF adapters actually,
these may be also plugged directly on ide header..
will be a headache to transfer files with this solution You mentioned, (You will need to transfer WHDLoad games) sice You can't use USB reader anymore... 🤔

Re: Noob building a TF534
I almost bought a CD32 yesterday, but somebody sniped it away from me right after I tried to snipe it. Hehe. At least I jacked up the price quite a bit for the seller.

Update. I finally got a new RAM IC for the chipram expansion card, and now it works. Happy now as all the 1 MB games and demos will finally run. :D
Recapped and accelerated amigas go for a ton of money online. Mayb eI should sell it and fix another one.

Re: Noob building a TF534
I got an Amiga 2000 now after swapping some things with a friend. I will build another TF534 for it as I have most of the components for another one. Anything special I need to consider?
MY A2000 is a Rev 6.2 and it has a n A2090A hard disk controller, which I probably will not use any more.

Re: Noob building a TF534
I built my scond TF534 now. It was easy this time and took programming right away. I'm missing most of the 10 uF caps as I forgot to order them but everything else is on. I'm waiting to install the oscillator until I have run it through the ultrasonic cleaner. Annoying to be missing the caps.
I only had five so I have installed them under the RAM chips in position C8 through C12. I guess I can try it without all the caps but assume it won't be stable.

Today I received an Amiga 500+. If I get it working I might use the TF534 in that. It's mighty corroded.

Respect if you can recover from that - I'd be ordering a new PCB!

I'm going to try, if only to see if I can do it. :) A less damaged complete motherboard can usually be found reasonably priced.
