The image you have that works with EmuTOS will likely need to be byte swspped to work with Tos2.06 IIRC but I will try and look into it ASAP. Been away, so not much help, apologies.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

IIRC TOS 2.06 is restricted to 512Mb partitions which was raised to 2Gb for 4.04.

With previous firmware's (until the very last one posted), the drives will mount on both TOS 2.06 and Emutos, but only emutos auto boots. I have always used a byte swapped ide cable.

I'm interested to know if anyone has ever got a TF536 IDE working with a patch wire on plain TOS 2.06?

Because i think the ST IDE interface is byte swapped and i dont think it will ever work using the internal drive routines. I could be wrong but i think i'm fighting more than the INT cable here.

I don't know if it is the same code for IDE as in 534? @agranlund got his IDE working by doing some hardware mod on a cable and talked a bit about that in the post.

Thanks!

Yeah it will need that cable to ever work on a TF536. Seems to tie up to what i have seen on the LA!

So yes it would need that cable to work on plain TOS.

Both the 534 and 536 have required a byte swapped cable to be seen by TOS 2.06 and Emutos and TOS2.06 has never auto booted even with INT connected

Correction: the 534 does auto boot tos 2.06

This is wrong. EmuTOS does not need a byte swap. It autodetects. I am using it right now without a swap cable.
