Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Finished the track laying on the layout, barring re-jigging a couple of curves, so I can now turn my attention fully to Cyber Legends.

Re: General Stuff(tm)
Right! On to Cyber Legends prep and my TF536 upgraded machine is being a pain, or is it the UltraSATAN?
Firstly, PP converted games which I know did once run in 68030 mode no-longer do so, they just hang. This is under EmuTOS, and when I can get HDDriver to run, the TF536 version of TOS 2.06.
Secondly, HDDriver keeps corrupting the C: drive first sector for some reason. I've had to reformat the drive three times now. It doesn't happen with the EmuTOS built-in driver and I've got HDDriver loading into ST-RAM and not TT-RAM. Also it doesn't happen if I'm running on the 68000 with TOS 1.04. All very strange. HDDriver also usually bombs out with 11 bombs at a random point in the boot process, except when it doesn't.
So, after lunch it's time to reformat the C: drive once again and put everything back on the system.. AGAIN. *sigh*

I thought Emutos had built in drivers and didn't need any? Or is that just for IDE drives?stephen_usher wrote: 01 Oct 2023 13:27 Right! On to Cyber Legends prep and my TF536 upgraded machine is being a pain, or is it the UltraSATAN?

Re: General Stuff(tm)
Yeah, EmuTOS has its own driver but a lot of PPs games don't like it and it tries to load HDDriver if it finds it.
It's when I try to run TOS 2.06 or the TF tweaked version that HDDriver crashes out and corrupts the boot sector of the C: partition.

Re: General Stuff(tm)
After "downgrading": to the April 2020 TF536 firmware I can get TOS 3.06 (PAK/3) booting with HDDriver, but still not the TF enhanced 2.06 version.
Strange

Re: General Stuff(tm)
I wonder what the difference is between the Pak/3 TOS 3.06 and the TF536 version of TOS 2.06 is. IDE config? Something is upsetting HDDriver massively.
Oh, and the very last version (July 2022) of the TF536rev2 firmware that was posted doesn't work with EmuTOS 1.0. It gets very upset and corrupts the screen memory and then crashes. So, April 2020 version it is.

Re: General Stuff(tm)
Testing out the Falcon tonight and all good. I need to find better speakers than the ones I have at the moment as the bass is rather muffled on these and the best thing about the Falcon is the audio.

Is the disk image an HDDriver formatted image? PP formatted images are incompatible with HDDriverstephen_usher wrote: 01 Oct 2023 14:38 Yeah, EmuTOS has its own driver but a lot of PPs games don't like it and it tries to load HDDriver if it finds it.
