Cat normally eats anything which moves (and well anything which doesn't move actually) So don't know how any bugs would get in the box anyway. Other than the odd tiny fly, I've not even seen much past that in the flat.

If it has the same tendencies as our cat, even a small hole doesn't stay that way for long...

But in Scrodinger world, does even adding a small hole constitute box opening?

I'm worried about how any opening, how minor may effect the welfare of the cat (Or cat substitute), but I still want my parts.

Sod it, I'm opeing the box!

@rubber_jonnie Good luck - best to have a nice big leather glove handy, just in case (or a baseball mitt or similar)!

I'll get one of my guns 😁

And be ready with some karate moves 😀

 :o

Poor cat...

Good luck with either of those...my daughter was learning karate before the 'end of the world' & she can't get anywhere near him unless he wants her to. She won't have your experience in the karate moves of course...so that might be your saving grace...

@JezC Turns out there was no cat. Or cat substitute.

Everything is cool 😁

Karate continues for me via Zoom thankfully, was missing it terribly.

Had there actually been a cat (Or cat substitute) I'm not entirely sure I'd have stood a chance, you know what they're like when they've been cooped up in the post.

@rubber_jonnie phew - no new source of unexpected injuries from that potential source then, good news.

A but like the weather at the moment ;)

I've tried to get my 82 year old Mum to use Zoom...so we send her the invite & then call her on the phone & talk her through connecting, see the picture & then as soon as she hangs up her phone the zoom session closes too.

Of course, in the current situation there's no way to get anybody out to sort it for her and we can't go over to sort it either :(

Yes, ours can change from a sleeping ball of silky fur to demonic whirlwind of claws and teeth for no apparent reason! It's almost like having Kato from the Pink Panther films around...
