New toy... Or at least toolkit...
That's basically every type of bit for the electric screwdriver, plus spludgers etc. etc. etc.
Not sure about the translation from Chinese to English is great though...

Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Re: General Stuff(tm)
Today's fun...
Stripped, cleaned and lubricated the second Mac SE/30 floppy drive so that's nice and clunky when the floppy is inserted.
Watching plaster dry. Yes, seriously!
My outbuilding was plastered on Monday morning but due to (a) the weather and the humidity, and (b) the builders being silly and keeping the door and window closed it's only just really drying out with the help of every fan I have available. Unfortunately, because it wasn't dry yesterday they couldn't do the first "mist" coat of paint and this is likely to delay the installation of the electrical trunking, which was due on Monday. So, the whole project slips again. It's already beyond the multiply postponed official end date.
Anyway, here are some exciting pictures of drying plaster...
I can tell that you're beside yourselves with excitement and have just swooned. ;-)

I could do with consolidating my own screwdriver sets as I have all different types and sets I've gathered over the years. I was considering an iFixit kit, but that looks pretty gdecent.

As soon as the plaster is dry enough to paint, you can start to watch the paint dry :)

Re: General Stuff(tm)
Something slightly retro worked upon this afternoon, but not computing.
I've been working on my Dad's car getting it presentable for the funeral tomorrow. Lots of washing, T-Cut and replacing the old badges.
The car was originally mine, bought new in November 2000, but I passed it on to my Dad in 2007.
It could do with a respray and there's a little rush which needs treating on the rear wheel arches, oh and some mechanical stuff too, but for a 22 year old car it's not in too bad a nick and I want to renovate it completely eventually.
