Re: Stuff and Things.
Are you sure that you have enough connectors and cables?
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

I have room for more...stephen_usher wrote: Thu Dec 15, 2022 1:58 pm Are you sure that you have enough connectors and cables?
Sadly I have a lot of kit that uses unique connectors. For example, the Mattel Aquarius (MAQ) and VCS (Does VCS and 7800) look the same, but are wired differently. That was annoying.
But they are all machine specific so I need all of the different types for all of the different machines I might want to put in the 'hot' area where I tend to switch machines out.

I have several large boxes full of such odd wired/connected PSUs and video leads...You can never have enough leads, as I always like to tell MrsBomberMillzy

Am I the only one here whose label printer has a label on it that says "LABEL PRINTER"?rubber_jonnie wrote: Thu Dec 15, 2022 10:27 am Had a bit of a session with the label printer last night, so no getting cables confused when I come to plug something in![]()

Re: Stuff and Things.
I love my label printer, one of the most useful things I've bought. Mine is a green 'Gardening Edition' just the same as any normal one but green ! No special plant icons or fonts.
When you need to bring order to chaos, break out the label printer
Mine does not have a label on it as it's stored in the (for once) useful packaging, but the PSU does
Oh, I feel a printing session coming on. Light switches On/Off

And I'm also fond of labeling my STs underneath with their spec so I don't have to mess around opening up to check
