More progress, final parts arrived and I made up the cables:

I'm hoping the cables work fine, they are supposed to be straight through according to the github repo. Just waiting for the PicoPSU and socket now, then I'll be able to test it.

I'll do a smoke test first and check the voltages are correct that feed the PPC before I connect it. I don't want any magic smoke!!!

Oh, and I have just found this:

As you can see on the piuctures, only the Amstrad is powered.

The ISA board seems to be another revision though...

Erm, OK, so the expansion board works without the ATX power as long as pin B20 is disconnected, as it sees the XT-IDE and PicoMEM card.

I'm going to still get it installed though as it seems a little erratic.
