Yeah but like I say they're experimental beta settings which were removed from the final driver... Not recommended to be used.

@mrbombermillzy You only see the resolutions on the first screen until you scroll down off that first list...caught me out on the first couple of boots as well...
I've yet to choose which default resolution to use...partly because I might choose to use it with a 1920x1200 screen for MIDI use and it's currently connected into a Dell 1920x1080 screen.
I've also not yet found a quick way to transfer all the example s/w from a PC onto the Mega ST - the thought of doing it a floppy at a time is not one I want to entertain, so I might connect up a Gotek (possibly as the externa; drive) and move it using a few super-sized floppy images instead.
It's that or go via an external HDD (real or an SD-based one),,,and as I mention that I think that my BBaN SD hard drive might be an effective approach!

Im pretty sure we are not using the same drivers. My screens look exactly like the ET4000 NOVA driver screens from Idek.JezC wrote: 24 May 2025 21:35 @mrbombermillzy You only see the resolutions on the first screen until you scroll down off that first list...caught me out on the first couple of boots as well...
Whatever @Cyprian is showing pictures of must be the beta drivers as @Steve pointed out.
My Dell 2707WPF doesnt like any of the resolutions. However I am putting the input through a cheap HDMI to VGA adapter, so perhaps thats somewhat heading into the territory of where the fault lies, although the monitor didnt like most of the lower resolutions from the ET4000 VGA output with my Megabus V1 card from Frank Lucas either, so who knows?JezC wrote: 24 May 2025 21:35 I've yet to choose which default resolution to use...partly because I might choose to use it with a 1920x1200 screen for MIDI use and it's currently connected into a Dell 1920x1080 screen.
Like I said, it was my impression (along with the progress chart on the geekdot ATW page for the SD slot being on 90%), that there was still tweaking to be done in that department.JezC wrote: 24 May 2025 21:35 I've also not yet found a quick way to transfer all the example s/w from a PC onto the Mega ST - the thought of doing it a floppy at a time is not one I want to entertain, so I might connect up a Gotek (possibly as the externa; drive) and move it using a few super-sized floppy images instead.

Im happy enough to use a trusted/reliable alternative for a while. I suggest you do the same @JezC :)

Not quite off topic but saw this on eBay and wondered if any of the chips etc are of use to you guys?
Looks to be a few ISA cards with transputers on them. I'd bid myself if I had a use for them.

That's a good shout @PhilC ! I wonder if Jez / bomber have TRAMS yet? @mrbombermillzy are you gonna do some stuff with the transputer part of the card or just play with the graphics core? Or both :)

Jez/Ant I noticed that auction is local pickup in Woking. I have a cousin who lives there, so I can bid on it. If I win then you guys can grab some TRAMS off me. Unless one of you lives nearby and wants to bid. Anyway lemme know so we don't bid against each other.

Cool, I was going to say I'm 30mins from there too.Steve wrote: 28 May 2025 20:40 Jez/Ant I noticed that auction is local pickup in Woking. I have a cousin who lives there, so I can bid on it. Re: ATW800/2 - A Mega adventure
@Steve - I'd be interested in some size 1 or 2 TRAMs if you go for it (or let me know if you don't want to bid & I'll make some offers)...
My only TRAM is a size 4 so can't go inside the Mega :(
I want to get the Transputer side working but first I want to get a stable setup (so far the HDMI and SD card are working well plus the ROM images) and so far I've only had chance to get the files from floppy over onto the SD card...I need to swap things around so I can use the BBaN HD or similar to help me move larger files between PC and Mega.
Slow progress when I get any real retro time...

Cool, if my cousin can't pick them up I'll let you know. Do you have an ATW card too?
