4MB STM RAM upgrade in 1040 STF?

I'm fully aware of that (and did that to not cover the one dram with the two full rows of pins on the expansion board) - and even if turned by 180 degrees, it would still not cover the last chip on the right (or the one left of it that's barely covered)...

I'll add screenshots when back from work...

I'm not saying it would fit but just that seeing it in the correct context is useful, and also seeing the bare board too.

Well the board is what you find here in the motherboard section of the forum for C070523-001 REV D (viewtopic.php?f=52&t=920), nothing special. Have a look at the two images attached (and wonder why ATARI used a much larger spacing on the boards than they did on the 520STM...)

It's intended for the ST(M) computers for sure, question was if it does fit on the STF board with seemingly similar RAM layout too - and the answer to that is no (though for ones with experience in KiCAD and that have access to the right type of RAM chips, it could be a starting point for a solid and flat solution that avoids stacking on other components or IC sockets like other RAM expansions do - I found that the appealing point of exxos' board for the STFM with the other board layout too).
