It does!! Makes me wonder now if it was a ticking timebomb, but surely Apple wouldn't leave swarf like that, it just doesn't seem like a mistake they'd make.

First one looks like a solder ball, but was between the backlight and keyboard, how it got there god knows.

Well, new keyboard is in and all seems to be working as expected, including the back light!!

Yay!
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
