I’m going to order in the next couple of days. Have most of you modified (cut up) you rf shields to accommodate the booster and heat sink?

Thanks,

Thanks,
I've removed the upper RF shield. I don't believe the booster will fit with the top shield on.

I placed my order a few days ago. I just noticed the disable jumper on the board. Does this return control to the motherboard when enabled?

Thanks,

DISABLE turns the card into a bus client rather than a bus master. The CPU, FPU and memory is disabled and the Falcon's native processor becomes the bus master again.

The card isn't entirely inactive, though. The flash memory can be read and programmed in this mode by the DFBFLASH tool.

That’s good. I have Exxos’ STe accelerator and installed the switch for switching between 8mhz and 32mhz. I’ll do the same with this jumper. I’m glad I ordered the tos 4.04 rom and fpu from the store also.

I’m getting this error on startup. I used the auto sorter to sort the extensions per instructions.

You need WDIALOG.PRG in the AUTO folder.

which version of Xboot are you using?

I've never seen the auto folder displayed like that, mine renames PRG to PRX etc. yours looks like a leading underscore has been added somehow?

Actually, is it Xboot or a different utility?
