Re: Falcon wanted
It's here and set up, thanks @dad664npc
It's slightly in bits at the moment, I want to use the IDE as boot drive so I've ordered the latest HDDriver - paid via paypal but waiting on the serial number to d/l it - any ideas how long this usually takes?
The I can play with BlowUp with the Exxos VGA adapter - be good to see what resolutions the Dell can manage.
Thanks all,
Simon

Re: Falcon wanted
yep - typical bad timing for me!
I bought the drivers from Petari for my UltraSatan and happy with them, and I think there is Falcon IDE support from memory?
But again, typically I can't find the files in my email, just my reply saying thanks!

Re: Falcon wanted
email from Uwe with serial number - cracking service
I think I can burn an image on the SD card and see what happens from there, prob similar to the UltraSatan setup so will be able to partition the SD card, install the driver, make it bootable, and then use the SCSI drive as an external backup.
Then put the machine back together and maybe use the machine this evening - goodbye weekend!
Cheers,
Simon

If it’s like last time he’ll buy one on Facebook marketplace, wipe it with a duster and then mark up the price by 40%.. :xHigashiJun wrote: 27 Apr 2024 08:09 @smoore100
Yes, but RetroPassion states:
"Contact us as we can source units if required. "

Re: Falcon wanted
Nope but I saw the purchase on Facebook mp and then the subsequent relisting on amibay (the amibay mods then removed it) and on his website. I took photos of the machine from the original ads and it was definitely the same machine.

Re: Falcon wanted
And I would personally not deal with RetroPassion anymore, since I had a bad experience as a seller.
Was just a waste of time for nothing...
