Re: A sad loss of a forum moderator
Hi all,
First of all, this was a tad difficult to get in to... I didn't have an Atari.. I had Sinclair Spectrums ( don't judge, was dad's choice)
Matthew (Dizzy, DrF) was my husband. He died 27th January 2022 aged 38, recorded as COVID Pneumonia, leaving behind his three children who are now 21, 18 and 11.

Hello :)
First of all, this was a tad difficult to get in to... I didn't have an Atari..
Glad you got here in the end. It is deliberately difficult to stop spammers getting on here.
We welcome any retro machines here even though we are primarily a Atari Forum :)I had Sinclair Spectrums ( don't judge, was dad's choice)
I truly am sorry he is no longer with us. My condolences to you and your children :(Matthew (Dizzy, DrF) was my husband. He died 27th January 2022 aged 38, recorded as COVID Pneumonia, leaving behind his three children who are now 21, 18 and 11.
I didn't even realise so much time had passed. Last contact I had with him was August 2021. Another top bloke taken to young from this world! :(

Re: A sad loss of a forum moderator
I wish I could have been there for him towards the end :( With my life I just seem to go through one disaster to the next and never seem to get much free time to catch up with people. So it seems just a few short months after my last contact with him he sadly left this plane of existence :(Pixieboo30 wrote: 19 Dec 2023 16:52 Thank you all for your kind words and to Chris who reached out. I'm glad we made contact though, I found out what happened to him, so at least that is something ,even though the outcome was horrific to learn about :(

I totally get it with the spammers
Yep, Sinclair Spectrum 128k amongst a few, I have the Amigas, Ataris, Nintendo's, Sega's and handhelds in the loft circa early 80s to mid 2000s plus all their games/program software.
I was a geek just as much as he, different platforms is all. My thing was Java :)
