I was working for Argonaut in 1997/98 and they moved offices. Everything they had collected over 15 years that was "obsolete" got skipped.
Everything that I recognised came out of the skip and went home with me, Atari Jaguar development kit, Acorn Archimedes, Sega Saturn dev kit, lots and lots of stuff. Including a HOARD of Amiga's. A500s, A2000's with A2630 cards one with a Video Toaster 2000s, an A3000 with Picasso IV gfx card. (Non had working HDDs).
I sold all the Amiga's (less the Picasso IV) to buy an Amiga A4000 with 256MB RAM an 060 and X-Surf and a PC with a Riva TNT card and Celeron 300a.
A bit of me wishes I'd kept the A3000. It had a history. It was the most powerful Amiga at Argonaut and used to develop their 3D code while doing StarFox after Birds of Prey. Unfortunately someone accidentally blew up the PSU (Kris Womble I think) and it had been stored for 15 years when I got it.
