You don't need a level shifter here. A simple tristate buffer, like 74HCT244 or 74LS244 is good enough. But you are not going to go very far if you don't understand why you don't need it and when you would need it. I suggest you take some time, read some articles about interfacing logic families, and check some datasheets.
