... there are Atari type PLCC sockets 8.3mm high and 9.3mm high. You can see the difference but whether it matters that much is the question?

I guess that 1mm matters, because I *can* close the machine with the keyboard fitted, but it doesn't lay perfectly as it should.

I can send you two 8,2mm ones you have a desolder station ...?

... but I can send it only as package for 16,- Euro without Tracking.


Ask BEST, he as golden ones or Exxos.

By the way, the ThunderStorm team is seriously working on the socket issue.

Hope they will have a workaround soon.
