UB500 came :D Seemed to install fine. Now windows7 can't seem to find my headphones at all. In fact I can't even seem to get into bluttooth settings now. I can look for devices (nothing found at all) and have turn bluetooth off option, but it does nothing at all. :pullhair: :cussing:

Well the UB500 was equally full of disappointment as well. The sound volume is extremely low and I seem to end up with piles of unknown devices.

bthserv failed 1060 is what I ended spending a few hours trying to figure out. In case anyone else has this problem with Windows 7 64 bit..

You basically end up with the Bluetooth service is not running in which case you will get nowhere whatsoever with anything. That partly might have been my fault for deleting stuff out of the registry to get the UB400 working the other day.

It is not my headphones because they work perfectly fine on android. The windows VU sound metres are maxing out continuously. But the volume received by my headphones is extremely low. I see others have this problem but the fix seems to be rather elusive. Basically people just end up blaming the drivers and manufacturers deliberately limiting the value to protect people's hearing etc. But even at full volume it is what I would call a minimal volume to actually hearing what anyone is saying on any videos.

So I give up. Always the same technology that nothing works properly and is just hours of looking for solutions which basically don't exist. So I'm just going to fix my old wired headphones and just not bother any more.
