My arm is still hurting after co-codamol this morning.
Thanks! Hope you get over the after-effects pretty quickly!

Me too, feeling pretty awful this afternoon, I thought I'd got away with it, no such luck.

Odd, they always told us to wait 15mins. I didn't though, thought if I've not passed out walking around the building to get out I'd be fine. Poorly didn't hit until much later, at night anyway.
We were told previously to wait for 15 minutes in the car before going anywhere. This time they said you have to wait 15 minutes in the vaccination centre.

@rubber_jonnie I ended up having the moderna vaccine. No sore arm yet (was three hours ago) but we shall see.

I was told to wait in the car fir 15 mins. Spent most of that talking to the car park Marshalls about my new car as they'd not seen one before.

Weird the different requirements depending on the location. They specifically told us not to go back to the car, 'You must wait in the vaccination centre' was what they said.

Will keep my fingers crossed for no side effects, 'cause I've been feeling like crap on and off all day.

My 88 year old Mum had hers last week, then after injecting her, they did a blood pressure check!! She was in agony, but at least they came to their home to do it.

I don't qualify for a free NHS Covid booster. Work has said they will re-imburse me if I get a private one but I don't know if I can be bothered this year?

I was the last of our family to get the first jab (although I was the first invited then then texted me back to say it was a mistake!).

Our 17 (at the time) son was actually first (heart condition when he was a baby), then my Mrs (had to 'shield' too -- something to do with an historical lung diagnosis) but I didn't get an invitation until my age group qualified, despite having asthma.

Now, four years down the line, I'm the only one who gets the regular one!

I had both at the same time a few weeks back. One in each arm simultaneously! They were really trying to get people through.

No ill effects other than the covid side bruised like no-one's business and I couldn't sleep on that arm for a few nights! I think it's probably just because it's a much bigger package of special goo.

It does show how unsure everyone was of what to do back in the moment. Now things have settled down it's back to us old lags only.

I always say never have the COVID and flu jabs together but always do.

Felt crappy for a few days and recovered just in time to feel crappy from my Chemo.

Yikes, you must be feeling pretty damn awful then...

Unfortunately whilst I'd prefer to separate them myself, they seem to be coming through as a pair nowadays and it's difficult to get just the single.

Hope you feel better soon, and hope the treatment is progressing well.
