Re: PhilCs H5 C1 build
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Really fancy the rev 3 but the fast CPLDs are out of stock until October... sigh.PhilC wrote: Tue Jul 13, 2021 5:42 pm @JezC I'll be using a decoder board or might use the rev3 I have to test.

Still, might give me time to pay you for the BBC Master in the meantime (bonus in September hopefully...our range cooker died on Monday so probably best to replace that first
Re: PhilCs H5 C1 build
@JezC best get the cooker first, don't mention it being her in door's early Christmas present

That thing is epic!
I see the inhaler in the upper right corner. I've got the same affliction. Be very careful with the molten flux fumes!
FOR GREAT JUSTICE. TAKE OUT EVERY ZIG

Re: PhilCs H5 C1 build
@PeckPeekPoke I was wondering where I'd left it
Just putting it through its paces now with a Rev3 TF536 and EmuTos V1, gotta get round to getting V1.1.
So far so good but will be even better tomorrow when my Simm sockets hopefully arrive thanks to exxos.

Here's the current setup.
Warning, look away if you have OCD. Tidy it is not.

Re: PhilCs H5 C1 build
Yes, probably a wise idea to prioritise the cooker over retro kit... otherwise it might end up costing me far more in the long run!PhilC wrote: Tue Jul 13, 2021 7:13 pm @JezC best get the cooker first, don't mention it being her in door's early Christmas present![]()
