The SMT stuff is pre-soldered.. so you would have to remove the resistor packs or SIL's on the MB.
Ok, no worries... ;)

It really needs to be tested quickly as possible.. but if your moving house I think you have higher priorities..

I'd really like to help, but unfortunately I have to give up. I currently own only one STe, with external Blitter (early board, with some factory bodges), the second one, with integrated Blitter, does not belong to me, and I've verified that it has CPU soldered on the board. So I can't risk damaging the board, while removing the CPU, and putting a socket. Also adding a cost of ROM switcher is beyond my budget :( My STe have 70 ns Flash ROMs, and these are the fastest I could find in the DIP package. Sorry.

No worries.

Needs to be tested on internal and external blitter machine, the more the better. But it does need to have my DUALTOS board to work and STE fixes done. I only have one half working STE and just dont have time to fix the other one. Though the booster has been tested previously for some hours, so its stable, just needs testing on more STE machines.

Sorry for the delay, only just got around to this again.. I am currently putting together 2 kits for you guys.. Testing the GAL will take some time as they don't always work reliable.
