Re: Icky's H5 B1 Build
Hi Icky,
What are the name/specs of the white power connectors that you used for CN2, CN5 - CN8?
Thanks,
Andres.

CN5-CN8 looks like JST XH. 2,5mm pitch. 4 pin.AndresPlazaR wrote: Sat Dec 05, 2020 6:02 amWhat are the name/specs of the white power connectors that you used for CN2, CN5 - CN8?
CN2 is probably the original from the donor board.
Re: Icky's H5 B1 Build
That is correct @DoG I use the original for power into the board but my own preference is use JST for all the other power leads. I like to make the leads with braiding so they look nice and neat plus easy to switch between boards with the same JST connectors.DoG wrote: Sat Dec 05, 2020 7:37 amCN5-CN8 looks like JST XH. 2,5mm pitch. 4 pin.AndresPlazaR wrote: Sat Dec 05, 2020 6:02 amWhat are the name/specs of the white power connectors that you used for CN2, CN5 - CN8?

There is noting stopping you using normal header connectors.

@DoG / @AndresPlazaR - here is an example of one of my braided wires on one of my H4's plugged into the JST and floppy power locations.

And I wondered how I had a short between the 5V and GND before powering up.
Look what was under the MAX238

@Icky , did you drag solder the device or use hot air? Guessing hot air.
